Stevenson Families,
We kicked off the week with a very special celebration honoring Mrs. Warren, our Teacher of the Year. We are so proud of her dedication, passion, and the joyful impact she makes on our students every day.
This week we also celebrated Literacy Week, and our campus was buzzing with excitement—fun themed activities, reading adventures, and, of course, our wonderful Literacy in the Arts Night. Thank you to all the students who joined us for this magical evening centered around the love of reading and creativity.
We were also proud to recognize our Character Award recipients for December and January. These students continue to shine as leaders and role models, and we are so proud of their positive contributions to our school community.
A huge thank‑you goes out to all of the incredible volunteers who helped make our Book Fair run smoothly this week. Mrs. Monroe wants you to know that your time and support make all the difference! And tonight’s Penguin Palooza was an absolute blast—thank you to our amazing Parent Group, our dedicated teachers, and all of the volunteers who worked so hard to bring us this evening of fun, games, and community spirit.
As we look ahead to next week, we want to remind families that we will be hosting our volunteer meeting on Friday, February 6th at 9:10 AM in the cafeteria, and we will also be holding Club Picture Day that same Friday. Please be sure students come prepared for their club photos. Monday begins our Smencil sale in the courtyard. Each fragranced pencil can be purchased for $2.00.
Thank you, families, for your ongoing support and enthusiasm. We are grateful for our Stevenson community. (hidden question) I hope you have a wonderful weekend and stay warm. I'll see you Monday in the car loop!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Fleeger
