Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful winter break and made some amazing memories with family and friends.
Now that we are back, I have lots of exciting updates to share. We want to extend a huge thank you to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office for supporting our community and keeping us safe. We hope everyone enjoyed Donuts with Deputies this morning! We appreciate all who helped make this event a success. I think my favorite part of the event was watching the Deputies play 9-square!
Families, remember that report cards will be issued on Tuesday. Take some time to review your child's progress and set some upcoming goals with them. Also, join us on Wednesday from 4–9 PM at Nitro Kitchen for our Spirit Night! Be sure to let them know you’re from Stevenson—Nitro Kitchen will donate a portion of the proceeds back to our school.
January 26 - 30 is National Literacy Week. During this week, we will have special events for our students to participate in and our Book Fair will also be held the week of January 26th (see email from Mrs. Monroe). The application process for the Choice School Lottery ends Friday, January 16th. Please make sure to complete the application—adding an incoming child to your Focus account does not complete the process.
