Stevenson Families,

What a busy and rainy week it has been! Despite the wet weather, our Penguins continued to learn, grow, and shine. This week, we proudly celebrated our August and September Character Award recipients. We are incredibly proud of these students for demonstrating outstanding character and serving as positive role models for all of our Penguins.

As we look ahead to next week, please remember that there is no school for students on Monday due to a Teacher Work Day. On Wednesday, students who have returned their parent permission slips will participate in our exciting Mega Blast event. Thursday is Walk or Roll to School Day! Join Coach Dwyer under the pavilion at Kelly Park by 8:20 a.m. for a special treat before walking or rolling to school together. Also on Thursday from 5:00-6:00 p.m., we will host our Prospective Parent Meeting in the PAB for families interested in applying to Stevenson for the upcoming school year. If you know of any families who may be interested in joining our school community, please help spread the word about this event.

We will wrap up the week with our annual Trunk or Treat on Friday at 5:00 p.m. in the parking lot by the PAB. We can't wait to see all of our students' spooktacular costumes and enjoy a fun evening together as a school community. Additionally, next week, Mrs. Wehrly and I will begin meeting with students in grades 3-6 for individual data chats. During these conversations, we will review student data, celebrate accomplishments, and work together to set meaningful goals for continued success. (hidden question)

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Have a wonderful long weekend, and I'll see you Tuesday in the car loop!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Fleeger
