Stevenson Families,

What a wonderful week at Stevenson! Class pictures and picture retakes went well, and we loved seeing our students actively engaged in learning throughout the week. When Mrs. Wehrly and I were walking classrooms, we loved seeing our primary students participate in UFLI lessons and our intermediate students hard at work with DBQs. This weekend, be sure to ask your kiddo to share something they learned this week! We love when our students have the opportunity to bring their learning home and share it with their families.

Today, our teachers had a day of learning of their own! They dug into FAST data, explored the benefits of “think alouds,” practiced engagement strategies, and learned a plethora of new and effective ways to use technology as a tool to enhance student learning. We are so grateful for a staff that is committed to continually improving their craft and creating meaningful learning experiences for our students.

As we look ahead to next Friday, we have a couple of important reminders. Our Volunteer Meeting will be held at 9:10 am in the café, and we would love to see our volunteers there! Next Friday is also a PAID Fantasy-Themed Out of Uniform Day! Students who participate are encouraged to have fun with the theme while still following BPS dress code expectations. Please remember that full masks are not permitted, and all attire should be modest and school appropriate.
