What an amazing week we've had at Stevenson Elementary! Our students and staff continue to work hard every day, and we are so proud of all they are accomplishing. We are excited to share that FAST assessment scores should now be available for families to view through the Focus Parent Portal. We encourage you to take a moment to review your child's results.
A special thank you goes out to our 6th grade families for the wonderful lunch provided for our staff this week. Your generosity and support are deeply appreciated and helped make our week extra special!
We would also like to remind families that the final deadline to sign up for BAS Enrichment Classes is Wednesday, September 23. If you are interested in enrolling your child, please email fuller.tiffany@brevardschools.org by the deadline.
Class Picture Day and Make-Up Picture Day will take place on Monday, September 21. We look forward to capturing our students' smiles!
Please note that Friday, September 25, is a student holiday and teacher professional learning day. There will be no school for students on that day.
As we continue to prioritize the safety of our students, families, and staff, we need your partnership. Recently, we have observed several individuals crossing directly through the car loop traffic lanes rather than using the designated crosswalk. This week, we witnessed a parent nearly get hit by a vehicle because they did not use the crosswalk located by the red book box on the east side of the school. For everyone's safety, please always use the designated crosswalk when crossing the car loop.
Additionally, we want to remind all drivers that cell phone use while driving on campus is unsafe and against the law. Please keep your attention on the road and your surroundings while driving through our campus to help ensure the safety of all students and families.
As we head into the weekend, thank you for your continued support, partnership, and commitment to making Stevenson Elementary such a special place. (hidden question) We are grateful for our incredible students, dedicated staff, and supportive families who work together each day to help our children succeed.
On that note I want to extend congratulations to Ms. Jarvis, named our Teacher of the Year, and Ms. Buckworth, names our Employee of the Year. These two individuals go above and beyond for our students and school community. They are so deserving of their titles!
